Broke Idaho campaign finance law as PAC treasurer

November 2025 - April 2026

As KCRCC treasurer, she signed checks to herself.
As KCRCC treasurer, she authorized $11,000 in payments to Idaho Dynamics LLC, Dave Reilly's Wyoming-registered shell company.
The Secretary of State fined the KCRCC $1,000, citing an "irreconcilable conflict" under Idaho Code §67-6602(11).
She was personally fined $1,500 as treasurer of the Idaho Freedom Caucus PAC.
That PAC was also fined $1,000.
She denied wrongdoing, saying she did not know what the checks were for.

March 2026

Voted no on HB 776, requiring child welfare checks within 12 hours for newborns whose parents have documented abuse histories.
The bill was named for 12-day-old Benjamin Lemke, who died after his parents had previously lost five children to the state.
The House passed it 49-18; it was signed into law April 2, 2026.

February - March 2026

She drove a 52% budget cut to the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance, forcing it to halve enrollment.
Rural schools that cannot staff advanced courses depend on the program. Their leaders asked her not to cut it.
She then introduced a bill to eliminate the program entirely.
A fellow Republican said she was "throwing the baby out with the bath water." The bill failed on a tie vote.

Voted no on a $5 million fund for children with autism, brain injuries, and orthopedic impairments.
Led a $2 million cut to UI and Boise State, citing DEI programs.
Voted against restoring $190,800 in National Guard tuition assistance, rejecting benefits of up to $8,000 per year for Idaho Guard members.
She voted no a second time the following week; the adjutant general warned the cuts would break faith with enlisted soldiers and leave Idaho ranked 49th nationally in tuition assistance.
Challenged continued funding for Idaho Launch, which gives graduates up to $8,000 for college or job training.

All ten no votes came from legislators top-rated by the KCRCC and Idaho Freedom Foundation.
Voted against HB 445, which funded aquifer recharge critical to Idaho agriculture.
The Times-News editorial board asked: "It makes us wonder who they're representing."
Her bill to block separate utility rates for crypto miners was voted down.
