David Quimby

Quimby, a retired aircraft mechanic and longtime volunteer football and wrestling coach, ran for a second term in Zone 4. He is one of five current Lakeland trustees all endorsed by the KCRCC. He won 793 votes (61.28%) over challenger Chris Beaty (501 votes, 38.72%).

Official results: Quimby 793 votes (61.28%), Chris Beaty 501 votes (38.72%). All five Lakeland trustees are now KCRCC-endorsed candidates.

KCRCC's own post-election analysis lists "David Quimby and Jeff Brodhead for the Lakeland Joint School District" among 19 successful KCRCC-recommended candidates. Confirms Quimby was on the KCRCC Red Card in both 2021 and 2025.
