Owes St. Luke's $60.2 million for defamation
March 2022 - September 2025
- In March 2022 he led protests at St. Luke's hospitals after a baby was placed in state care.
- Protesters tied up the hospital's phone lines. The hospital said staff were doxxed.
- St. Luke's Boise went into lockdown for about an hour. Four patients were taken by ambulance to other hospitals.
- He claimed St. Luke's trafficked and kidnapped children to make money. Boise State Public Radio called the accusation false.
- The hospital's security director testified he ordered the lockdown over fear of a "Pizzagate-style attack."
- A nurse practitioner testified she is still doxxed online and called a pedophile.
- Bundy skipped the trial. A jury awarded St. Luke's and its staff $52.5 million in July 2023.
- A federal bankruptcy judge ruled in August 2025 that he cannot wipe out the judgment.
- The judge found he acted in a "willful and malicious manner" in defaming the hospital.
- With interest, he owed $60.2 million by September 2025.

Jailed for contempt of court
August 2020 - November 2023
- He was arrested Aug. 25, 2020, for refusing to leave a closed Statehouse auditorium. A court convicted him of trespassing.
- His sentence included 40 hours of community service. He reported time spent on his governor campaign instead.
- Judge Annie McDevitt jailed him for 10 days and fined him $3,000 in April 2022.
- She said he made "a mockery of the sentence you received."
- An Ada County judge later held him in contempt for skipping hearings in the St. Luke's case for nearly a year.
- Gem County authorities arrested him on that warrant in August 2023. Bail was $10,000.
- In November 2023 he skipped the first day of his contempt trial.
- The judge issued a new warrant and raised his bond to $250,000.
- He emailed the court: "My entire life has been consumed by political prosecutions."
- The charges say he ignored orders to remove defamatory posts and not to harass witnesses.

Idaho Freedom PAC endorsed him against Gov. Little
October 2022
- Idaho Freedom PAC endorsed Bundy for governor on Oct. 27, 2022, eleven days before the election.
- He was running as an independent against Republican Gov. Brad Little.
- The PAC's post called him "a courageous man who has stood up to government bullies."
- The Idaho Press reported that the Idaho Freedom Foundation, Idaho Freedom Action and the PAC "share leaders, donors and messaging."
- A coalition of retired sheriffs and police chiefs asked candidates the network had endorsed to disavow the endorsement.
- Former Ada County Sheriff Gary Raney said Bundy has "not respected the rule of law."
- Bundy said he was "not surprised" the PAC endorsed him.
- He drew about 90,000 votes in November, NPR reported.

KCRCC's 2022 cards listed no Republican for governor
May - November 2022
- The KCRCC's May 2022 primary card recommended Janice McGeachin for governor. Gov. Little is not on it.
- Its November 2022 general election card is headed "Vote for your favorite Republicans."
- That card lists no statewide race at all.
- It also omits Raúl Labrador, whom the May card recommended for attorney general.
- The Idaho Capital Sun identified Brent Regan as the Idaho Freedom Foundation's board chairman while he led the KCRCC.
- Six North Idaho Republicans wrote in 2026 that after Little won the 2022 primary, the KCRCC "refused to recommend him."
- In 2026 the KCRCC again recommended a challenger, Mark Fitzpatrick, over Little.

- In March 2020 Bundy said of "bad actors": "We need to go to his house and act in that way."
- In April 2020 he joined dozens outside a Meridian police officer's home after a protester's arrest at a closed playground.
- The Idaho Freedom Foundation posted the officer's name and photos on Facebook. President Wayne Hoffman said the post was later deleted.
- The Meridian Police Employee Association said releasing officers' home addresses to intimidate them "stepped over the line."
- Republican state Rep. Greg Chaney told Bundy, "Go home, Ammon."
- Bundy told the Idaho Press he is not opposed to weapons where "physical defense" is needed.
- InvestigateWest reported that Bundy supporters used doxxing in the 2022 St. Luke's campaign.

- Bundy published an essay in November 2025 defending immigrants and blasting the federal crackdown.
- After an ICE agent killed Renee Good in Minneapolis, he said ICE's conduct "looks like tyranny."
- He told The Atlantic the left "has it much more correct than the nationalist right" on the humanitarian side.
- He called Democrats "communist-anarchists" and Republicans "nationalists."

Arrested after refusing deputies' orders
October 2026
- Utah deputies stopped Bundy on Interstate 15 on Oct. 7, 2026, over a registration expired for two years.
- The sheriff said Bundy had been warned before. Bundy confirmed it.
- Bundy refused orders to leave the truck. Deputies removed him.
- The booking record lists failure to obey an officer and interfering with a peace officer.
- Bundy said he objects to registration and license rules because travel is a "God-given right."

- Bundy's 2022 campaign paid $30,000 to Revere Media, an ad firm linked to Dave Reilly.
- InvestigateWest reported Reilly also posed as a leftist online to claim Bundy might be "too tough on groomers."
- Bundy led the 2016 Malheur refuge occupation, CBS reported.
- HuffPost reported that Heather Scott was part of the Malheur standoff, using the codename "greenbean."
